(Spirit Lake)—A traffic stop Wednesday evening on Highway 71 south of Milford landed a Milford man in jail on drug and alcohol charges.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says upon investigating, a passenger in the vehicle, 23-year-old Dean DeBoer of Milford, was found to be in possession of what’s alleged to be marijuana and an open container of alcohol.
DeBoer was booked into jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance and open container. He was later released on a $1,000 bond.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Milford Police Department and the Sheriff’s Office K-9.
