(Spencer)—A weekend traffic stop resulted in several charges being filed against a Spencer man.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Paul Iske Saturday afternoon in Everly. Upon investigating it was determined Iske didn’t have a valid driver’s license and that the vehicle had expired plates from another vehicle on it, but had a current registration sticker attached. The deputy learned the sticker had been taken off a license plate on a vehicle belonging to somebody else.
Iske was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, operating without registration, improper use of registration, and possession of stolen property. He was released after posting a $566 cash bond.
