(Spencer)– Officials with the Clay County Fair in Spencer are releasing details of one of the featured grandstand concerts for the 2005 fair.
Rock ‘n roll legend ZZ Top will energize generations of rockers in front of the grandstand during the first day of the fair, Saturday, September 10th.
Their recognizable music, spanning over 34 years, includes an array of rock and blues, making ZZ Top one of America’s best-loved classic rock bands. The Texas trio, which was inducted into the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, is one of the longest-running major rock groups with the original artists intact…and original beards as well!!
Tickets for ZZ Top are 29-dollars for grandstand seating and 24-dollars for annex seating.
June 22nd is the first day for ticket orders by mail; July 18th is the first day for ticket orders by phone; and July 25th is the first day to purchase tickets at the fair’s box office.
The 2005 Clay County Fair will run September 10th through the 18th in Spencer.
