(Gillett Grove)– A two-vehicle collision in Clay county Sunday left an Albert City man with minor injuries.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says the collision took place around 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of county roads N-14 and B-53 just east of Gillett Grove.
Authorities say 21-year-old Kyle Swenson of Albert City was northbound on N-14 when he failed to stop at a stop sign. Swenson struck a pickup being driven eastbound on B-53 by 41-year-old Donald Salton of Dickens.
Salton struck Swenson’s vehicle on the driver’s side. Both vehicles wound up in the ditch.
Swenson complained of minor injuries at the scene.
He was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
