(Spirit Lake)– Motorists on Highway nine between Highway 86 and the east city limits of Spirit Lake can expect some delays…perhaps starting as early as Tuesday.
Rohlin Construction, the general contractor on the road re-surfacing project, says they’ll be starting some work Tuesday, weather permitting.
Plans call for traffic to be funneled from four lanes to two at some point in the project. Motorists are urged to use caution and drive slowly through the construction zone.
Officials say the work is expected to continue through most of the upcoming season, with completion tentatively set for September. They say the traffic limitations won’t be in effect for that entire time, though.
