(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help as it investigates reports in which vehicles, heavy equipment and buildings were shot at in recent days, damaging many windows.
Deputies say it happened in the 24000 block of 165th Street south of Spirit Lake. It’s believed the incidents took place between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Monday.
Spirit Lake police are also investigating two complaints in which windows were shot out of vehicles.
Anyone with any information should contact the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office at 336-2793, or Dickinson County Crimestoppers at 336-2345. Those calling that number can remain anonymous if they wish. $200 is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest in the case.
