(Estherville)– Live holiday and nativity scenes will be portrayed in storefront windows in Estherville this Thursday evening, December 5th.
The program is being made possible by the retail promotional council of the Estherville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Estherville-Lincoln Central school’s STAR program, of which Nikki Johnson is the coordinator. She tells KUOO news E-L-C students and members of church youth groups in the Estherville area will be involved in the scenes, which will be featured in 21 different storefront windows in downtown Estherville and in the shopping plaza on the east side of town.
Johnson says in addition to the live window displays, cookies, hot cider and hot chocolate will be served, and there will be carrolling. The activities will be going on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in Estherville.
