(Estherville)– Another major fundraising campaign in the area got a boost yesterday.
It was announced that Northstar Bank has contributed 100-thousand dollars to Estherville’s Regional Wellness Center project. A meeting room will be included in the facility that will be named in the bank’s honor.
The wellness center fundraising effort has adopted “build the dream” as its slogan. Committee members hope to raise as much of the six million dollars needed for the project as possible. The Estherville-Lincoln-Central school district has committed 1.5 million dollars toward the project; the city of Estherville has chipped in a million dollars.
