(Sibley)– A traffic stop Saturday in Osceola county for an equipment violation resulted in the arrest of a Little Rock man on drug charges.
The Sheriff’s Office says a search of the vehicle was conduted after the 9-9 Unit indicated the possible presence of drugs.
The driver, 19-year-old Barry Arends, was arrested and booked into the Osceola county jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance…marijuana, a serious misdemeanor; possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to prove security against liability…both simple misdemeanors.
Arends was later released after posting a $1,600 cash bond.
