(Arnolds Park)– The committee that’s organizing the 2004 University of Okoboji Winter Games is looking for nominations for cheerleaders.
Carol Caviness of the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce says the nominating deadline is January 2nd.
Nomination forms are available by contacting the Chamber office in Arnolds Park, or by simply writing about the person you’d like to nominate.
Caviness says the qualifications for cheerleader are simple: someone that has a ready smile; someone that promotes the Iowa Great Lakes; is enthusiastic about everything that goes on in the area; and a spirit and devotion that goes above and beyond.
Again, nominations must be returned to the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce by January 2nd.
The cheerleaders will be voted on at the Winter Games Committee meeting on January 5th.
