(Wahpeton)– A special honor for the city of Wahpeton and its water treatment operation.
The city was awarded the 2002 Small Community Water System of The Year Award by the Iowa Rural Water Association.
The award was presented to Water Superintendent Tim Wilson at the association’s annual convention last week in Des Moines.
The award is presented annually. It recognizes dedication, commitment and professionalism.
Wilson has served as Wahpeton’s Water Superintendent since 1997.
