(Wahpeton)– The Wahpeton City Council Monday evening tabled a request for the city to spray for mosquitoes. Council members said they want more information before considering it any further. The city received the spraying request from a resident concerned about West Nile Virus.
The Arnolds Park City Council has voted against spraying…siting environmental concerns.
In other business, the Wahpeton City Council Monday adopted an amendment to the city’s zoning ordinance establishing an A-Agricultural District in the city’s zoning classifications; another amendment adopted Monday changes the required zoning of land that’s annexed into city limits.
The council also adopted an amendment to city code adding regulations governing public lake accesses.
