(Wahpeton)– Wahpeton will join other lakes area towns in adding a referendum on the November General Election ballot asking the public if the city should go ahead with a feasibility study into the establishment of a municipal utility for telecommunications and cable t.v.
The Wahpeton city council Monday adopted a resolution calling for the referendum following a public hearing that drew no comments.
The Spirit Lake and Arnolds Park city councils have adopted similar resolutions.
