(Wahpeton)– Residents of Wahpeton looking to get rid of junk during the city’s annual clean-up day will have to do something different this year.
The city council Monday voted four-to-one to no longer hold the clean up day.
It was the concensus of council members that new regulations no longer make the pick up feasible.
Council members indicated they may be willing to reconsider if there’s a lot of concern expressed at their next regular meeting June 23rd. But for now atleast, there will be NO clean-up day this year in Wahpeton.
