(Wahpeton)– A Republican running for State Representative in the district that includes Clay and Dickinson counties is sounding off on the hog lot issue.
Bonnie Vetter says there’s a fine line between protecting the environment and Iowa’s agricultural industry.
She wants more local control on the placement of feedlots, but at the same time, she says caution should be taken so there isn’t too much local control. Vetter feels there’s plenty of room to strike a balance.
