Vehicular Homicide trial begins in Orange City

A man charged with vehicular homicide for an accident that killed another man has pleaded innocent.

Twenty-four year old Nathan James Muth of Ireton entered the written plea in Sioux County District Court yesterday. Muth also pleaded not guilty to homicide by reckless driving and causing serious injury by vehicle.
Police say Muth was the driver of a car that was involved in a single vehicle accident that occured on or between November 12th and November 13th, 2003.

A passenger, twenty-year old Jordan Merrick of Sioux County died. Another passenger, Jesse Wynia was seriously injured.
