(Arnolds Park)– A series of community input meetings for Dickinson county residents gets underway in April and will continue through the summer.
The “Community Visioning” of future possibilities for the Iowa Great Lakes will include the topics of arts and culture, recreation, health and safety, business and industry, education and the environment.
The first in the series of three meetings will be held April 18th and 19th at the Milford Community Center. The theme of that meeting is “Who Are We As A Community?”
The second meeting, “What Do We Want To Become?” will be held June 6th and 7th at the Arnolds Park Pavilion.
And “How Will We Get There?” will round out the series of meetings August 2nd and 3rd at the Arnolds Park Pavilion.
Hosted by the University of Okoboji Foundation, the meetings will provide for a countywide dialogue, giving the public an opportunity to identify and discuss possible needs, plans and future directions of the area.
Exact times for the meetings have yet to be announced.
