(Hutchinson, Mn.)– A Fairmont woman and two others were seriously injured in a two vehicle collision Thursday evening in west central Minnesota.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 40-year-old Jacqueline Sommers of Hutchinson was driving a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 56-year-old Amy Derrera of Fairmont was driving a 1989 Pontiac. Troopers say Sommers was westbound and had stopped. The vehicle driven by Derrera was also westbound, and the two collided.
Derrera and two passengers in her vehicle, 44-year-old Kacee Griffith of Slayton and 41-year-old Jadie Saliaris of Little Falls, Minnesota, were taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.
