(Spirit Lake)– Two people were injured in an accident involving two motorcycles Saturday evening at the intersection of 240th Avenue and 237th Street in Dickinson county.
The Sheriff’s Office says the mishap involved motocycles driven by 21-year-old Jeremy Beelner and 20-year-old Ryan Climer…both of Spencer.
Beelner and a passenger on one of the bikes, 17-year-old Crystal George of Hartely, were taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake. There was no word on the extent of their injuries.
Authorities say Beelner and Climer were both northbound. The two collided when Beelner attempted to make a left turn.
500-dollars in damage was estimated to a 1992 Yamaha driven by Beelner; no damage was reported to a 1995 Suzuki driven by Climer.
The mishap took place shortly before 7:00 p.m. Saturday.
