(Estherville)– Two finalists have been selected to interview for the position of Executive Dean at the Estherville campus of Iowa Lakes Community College.
G. Jane Bradley and Dr. Rhonda R. Pennings will be in Estherville this week for interviews.
Jane Bradley is currently the Chair of the Biotechnology Program at Des Moines Area Community College. She has also worked as a biology instructor at DMACC. Prior to that, Bradley was a research assistant at Texas A & M University; a research fellow and a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Oklahoma; and a biology instructor at Seminole State College in Oklahoma. Bradley received her associate in science degree from Seminole Junior College; her master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and has completed all of her coursework for her Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma.
Rhonda Pennings, Ed.D., is a department chair in English and an English instructor at Northwest Iowa Community College. She has also taught writing at NWICC; has been an administrative graduate assistant and teaching assistant at the University of South Dakota; and taught high school English and art at Unity Christian High School. Pennings got her bachelor’s degree at Northwestern College in Orange City; her master’s degree at the University of South Dakota; and her doctor of education degree in educational administration from USD. She also has postgraduate credits in educational leadership from Iowa State.
The post of Executive Dean of the Estherville campus was opened when Ellengray Kennedy chose to spend time working toward her doctorate degree.
