(Spirit Lake)– Trial for a man accused of trying to kill a woman at her Spirit Lake residence last year is scheduled to get underway later this month in Dickinson County District Court.
22-year-old Jeffrey Wittler of Spirit Lake was charged with attempted murder, willful injury, assault while participating in a felony, going armed with intent and domestic assault.
The charges stem from June 1st, 2009 when Spirit Lake police were called to an assault at 2321 Quail Run in Spirit Lake.
According to on-line court documents, Wittler’s trial is scheduled to start April 20th.
