(Sibley)– Drug charges have been filed against a Sibley man as the result of a traffic stop Wednesday on an Osceola county road northwest of Harris.
The Sheriff’s Office says 39-year-old Chad Ackerman of Sibley was arrested after deputies stopped him for a traffic violation. A subsequent investigation resulted in deputies finding five grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine packaged for sale, along with some drug paraphernalia.
Ackerman was charged with possession with intent to deliver five grams or less of methamphetamine…a class “C” felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor. He was booked into the Osceola county jail on 65-thousand dollars bond.
