(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop Wednesday evening on the west edge of Spirit Lake has resulted in the arrest of a Lake Park couple.
The Spirit Lake Police Department says an officer pulled over a westbound vehicle shortly before 9:00 p.m. that was being driven by Shannon Lowry of Lake Park. A license check showed Lowry was wanted on outstanding warrants for insufficient funds out of O’Brien county. Upon further investigation, her husband, 23-year-old Terry Lee Lowry of Lake Park, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, third offense; and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also wanted on outstanding warrants for insufficient funds. Lowry was booked into the Dickinson county jail. His wife was transported to the O’Brien county jail.
