(Spirit Lake)– Drug charges have been filed against a Milford man in connection with a traffic stop Tuesday in Spirit Lake.
40-year-old Todd Eugene Stockwell had initially been charged with driving while suspended and no insurance. A subsequent search of the vehicle he had been driving turned up several boxes of pseudoephedrine…a precursor in the manufacturing of methamphetamine; and some drug paraphernalia. Additional charges of possession of precursors to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia were then filed against Stockwell.
Stockwell was booked into the Dickinson county jail and was later released after posting bond.
The traffic stop took place around 9:40 a.m. at the corner of Lake Street and Memphis Avenue in Spirit Lake.
