(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop Sunday in Spirit Lake has resulted in charges against a Spirit Lake man.
Police say they pulled over a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Joseph Feese behind Godfather’s in Spirit Lake for a traffic violation. A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up a substance believed to be marijuana.
Feese was charged with operating while intoxicated, second offense; possession of a controlled substance, second offense; prohibited acts; driving while suspended and speeding.
Spirit Lake police were assisted by the Okoboji Police Department and the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
