(Milford)– Fire Thursday evening damaged a storage shed at a rural Milford residence.
Fire Chief Don Eckard says the Milford Fire Department was called to the Jan Turner residence about four miles southwest of Milford around 10:30 p.m. He says a fire was burning in a timber area when they arrived and had started the side of a storage shed on fire. They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze and damage to the shed was confined to just one side.
No injuries were reported.
Eckard believes some brush and leaves that were being burned earlier in the day may have rekindled.
Milford firefighters were on the scene about an hour.
