(Terril)– The Terril school board has decided to press forward with a comprehensive study of the district’s future. Superintendent Bruce Tepfer tells KUOO news the school board has appointed a 12 member committee that will look at sharing and other possible options. Tepfer says a timeline for having the study done hasn’t been established.
On a related note, the Terril school board also Monday reviewed its finances for the current school year. Tepfer says the district needs to cut 23-thousand dollars from the current school year’s budget. He says the district does not have any master contracts for personnel and that no options…including a reduction in faculty…can be ruled out.
