Terril Man Charged In Restaurant Melee

November 23, 2014

(Spencer)– A fight at a Spencer restaurant late Saturday night has landed a Terril man in jail on numerous charges.

Five Clay county deputies were called to the parking lot of the Prime Rib just before midnight Saturday regarding a fight. When deputies approached one of the men involved, 24-year-old Heath Huntoon of Terril, allegedly became violent and resisted arrest.

Huntoon is accused of injuring one of the officers and was reportedly spitting blood at the other deputies. He was restrained and taken to the Clay county jail.

Huntoon was charged with public intoxication, assault on a peace officer, disorderly conduct and interference with official acts.

Only minor injuries were reported to the deputy.
