Terril & Graettinger School Boards Discuss Administration

November 22, 2014

(Terril)– The Terril and Graettinger school boards met in a joint session Monday evening to talk about another aspect of the whole grade sharing agreement the two boards signed last week.

Terril Superintendent Bruce Tepfer says it deals with how administration will be structured.

Tepfer says the two boards have decided to hire a shared superintendent. A principal will also be hired for Kindergarten through eighth grades in Terril and Kindergarten through fifth grades and high school in Graettinger.

Tepfer says they’ll be advertising the various positions over the next week or two. The two school boards are tentatively scheduled to meet again on January 26th when they’ll review the applicants and determine an interview process. Tepfer says Terril is tentatively scheduled to hold interviews on January 29th. Graettinger has yet to set a date for interviews there. Tepfer says the goal is to name a superintendent for the Terril/Graettinger school on Wednesday, February 24th.
