(Dickens)– A Spencer teen was a little shaken up following a one-vehicle rollover this (Fri.) morning east of Spencer.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 16-year-old Adam Storey was eastbound on county road B-24 about a quarter mile west of M-54 near the Dickens Curve when he lost control of the a 1989 Buick Park Avenue on the slush-covered road. The vehicle went into the south ditch, coming to rest on the driver’s side door.
Storey received minor injuries, but did not want to be taken to the hospital.
A four-year-old passenger wasn’t injured.
The vehicle sustained an estimated 500-dollars in damage.
No charges were filed in the mishap that took place just before 8:00 a.m.
