(Windom, Mn.)– A two-vehicle head-on collision north of Windom, Minnesota Tuesday has claimed the life of a Jeffers, Minnesota man and injured two other people, including a Spirit Lake man.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 1998 Plymouth Voyager driven by 55-year-old Charles Wolf of Jeffers, Minnesota and a 2004 Chevy pickup driven by 71-year-old Patsy Standerfer of Mission, Texas collided head-on on Highway 71 six miles north of Windom.
Wolf was pronounced dead at the scene. Standerfer and a passenger in her vehicle, 74-year-old Forrest Cobb of Spirit Lake, were injured and transferred to Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls. There was no word on the extent of their injuries or condition.
The collision took place shortly after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.
