A 2-month sex abuse investigation in Plymouth County has landed a Sutherland man in jail on numerous charges.
Back in May of this year, the Plymouth County Sheriffs Department began an investigation into sex abuse allegations made by a 25 year old LeMars woman.
The unidentified woman told authorities that she was sexually abused between the ages of 13 and 17 by 56 year old Mark Douglas Bogenrief of Sutherland.
Bogenrief is charged with 2 counts of 3rd degree sex abuse……..each being a class C felony.
He was placed in the Plymouth County jail.
