Supervisors Name 28E Representatives

November 23, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson county board of supervisors Tuesday announced their appointees to a 28E water quality commission. The county will have three votes on the commission. It’s representatives will be supervisors Wayne Northey and June Goldman. Supervisor David Gottsche has selected Daryl Helling as his designee.

The commission is being established as the result of a 28E agreement that seems to be headed toward final approval. All of the city councils have approved it with the exception of Arnolds Park. It’s approval was contingent on a review by the city attorney…who recently recommended a revision to spell out timelines for funding commitments. The council will give its final approval once the clarification is made.
