Superior Man Charged With Making Bomb Threat

(Estherville)– A Superior man has been charged in connection with a bomb threat this (Monday) morning.

Police say a male called the Estherville radio station around 6:00 a.m. stating that a bomb had been placed in the city of Estherville.

Authorities were able to trace the call, resulting in the arrest of 37-year-old Gerald Busch of Superior. He was charged with filing a false report, a felony punishable by up to five years in prison.

Busch was booked into the Emmet county jail.
