(Lake Park)– A Storm Lake man was injured in a car-pedestrian accident Saturday evening in Lake Park.
Lake Park police say 25-year-old Ryan Lundgren of Storm Lake was attempting to walk across County Road M-27 near the Park Avenue intersection when he was struck by a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by 18-year-old Sara Daly of Lake Park.
Lundgren was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare with unknown injuries.
About a thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the vehicle driven by Daly.
The mishap took place around 9:45 p.m. Saturday.
