Stammer Back In As Candidate For 5th Dis. Seat On Dick. Co. Supervisors

November 23, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– The deadline to file by petition for a county office in the November General Election was 5:00 p.m. Wednesday…meaning the field of candidates is now officially set.

The slate of candidates for the District five seat on the Dickinson County Board of Supervisors grew some more prior to the deadline passing, with Terry Stammer filing. Stammer lost in his bid for the Republican nomination for the District five seat in the June Primary. Stammer’s filing brings the total number of people running for the fifth district board of supervisor seat to four. Susan Clark, who lost in her bid for the Democratic nomination for the seat in June, has also filed by petition. Stammer and Clark join Pat McNorton, who won the Democratic nomination in the June Primary, and Pam Jordan, who garnered the Republican nomination.

One other person filed a nomination by petition earlier this month for board of supervisors. Chris Hanson filed in district two. Hanson will go up against Democrat Mike Koppert and Republican Mardi Allen.
