(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake Fire Department was called this (Fri.) morning to a minor fire at Indian Hills Golf Course.
Fire Chief Pat Daly says they were called around 7:43 am after getting a report of a fire in a small structure that houses pumps used to water the course…
“It was out when we got there. The electrical system inside the pumphouse is highly damaged. We did call Alliant in to look things over from their transformer and so as of right now it’s kind of under investigation. We were on the scene for about an hour and-a-half by the time we got Alliant there and made our decisions and went through. We did go through after they cleared it so we could get in there. We did go through and hit a couple of hot spots, so.”
No injuries were reported.
