(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake city council Tuesday set August 24th as the date for a public hearing on the city’s 2010 Street Improvements Project, to be carried out yet this construction season.
The projects include the repair of 23rd Street from Highway 71 east to Zenith Avenue; Gary Avenue from Lake Street south to Highways nine and 71; and Ithaca Avenue from 16th Street south to Highways nine and 71.
A bid opening on the projects is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. August 24th. The council is scheduled to award a bid following a public hearing as part of its regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. that evening.
