(Milford)– A Spencer woman sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident this (Tues.) morning on Highway 71 south of Milford.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 22-year-old Amanda Glenn lost control of a 1995 Jeep S-U-V about three miles south of Milford as she was traveling northbound. The vehicle started to fish tail on the ice-covered road and left the highway to the right. It went into a ditch and rolled about 75 feet into a field on the east side of the highway.
Glenn, who was alone in the vehicle, complained of a bump on the left side of her head, but refused immediate treatment.
Damage to the vehicle she was driving was estimated at 7,500-dollars.
The mishap took place around 5:00 a.m. Freezing rain was falling at the time.
