Spencer Woman Charged In Alleged Stun Gun Incident

November 22, 2014

(Storm Lake)– A Spencer woman has been arrested on charges she assaulted two women with a stun gun last month.

Storm Lake Police say they received a report on September 9th of an assault in the women’s bathroom at a Storm Lake nightclub. The women told police while they were using the restroom, a third woman, 27-year-old Jennifer Loera of Spencer, came into the restroom, pulled out a stun gun, and shocked both women.

Following a month-long investigation, Storm Lake police arrested Loera Sunday and charged her with two counts of going armed with intent…a class “D” felony.

Loera was booked into the Buena Vista county jail on a 19-thousand dollar bond.

Both women recovered from the shocks without complications.
