(Spencer)– Two Spencer teens have been arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop early this (Thursday) morning.
Spencer police say they pulled over a vehicle around 2:20 a.m. in the 1100 block of West Fourth Street. A search led to the discovery of more than a quarter pound of marijuana.
The occupants of the vehicle, 19-year-old Justin Cook and 18-year-old Katie Oviatt, both of Spencer, were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and a drug tax stamp violation…each a class “D” felony.
They were booked into the Clay county jail on bod of 3,900-dollars each.
