(Sioux City)– A Spencer man has been sentenced in U-S District Court for his involvement in a drug conspiracy.
43-year-old David Brian Bern was sentenced Thursday to 30 years in prison along with five years’ supervised release following the prison term.
A jury found Bern guilty on April 1st of this year on a charge of conspiring to distribute 500 grams or more of a methamphetamine mixture and to manufacture five grams or more of methamphetamine.
Bern is being held in the custody of the United States Marshals pending transport to a federal prison.
