Spencer Man Pleads Guilty To Meth Charges

(Sioux City)– A Spencer man has pleaded guilty in U-S District Court to meth charges.

42-year-old Steven Blaine Rowberg pleaded guilty to conspiracy to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine within a thousand feet of the North School Park in Spencer.

In a plea agreement, Rowberg admitted that between about 2002 and continuing through about February 21st, 2003 he and others manufactured and distributed atleast 50 grams of pure methamphetamine.

Rowberg is in the custody of the U-S Marshall pending completion of a pre-sentence report.

He faces a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and a possible maximum sentence of life along with an eight million dollar fine and a minimum of 10 years of supervised release following any imprisonment.
