(Spencer)– A Spencer man has been charged with public intoxication in connection with an alleged incident Saturday.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report shortly after 10:00 p.m. Saturday of a man just west of County Road M-38 on B-40 that was hitting a newer Dodge pickup with a crowbar and throwing rocks at vehicles.
A deputy located the subject, identified as 28-year-old Chad Lake of Spnecer. Lake was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for public intoxication.
The deputy also determined Lake owns the pickup that was damaged. Authorities say additional charges are pending.
