(Spencer)– Spencer firefighters were called to a report of a smoke-filled house this (Tues.) morning.
Fire Chief Doug Duncan says they were called to a residence in the 1600 block of Fourth Avenue East shortly before 6:00 A.M.
Upon arriving, Duncan says they were able to trace the smoke to a burned out motor on a furnace. He says crews ventilated the house, and no injuries were reported.
Spencer firefighters were on the scene about 45 minutes.
