(Spencer)– A Spencer company has received a special commendation from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA.
CF Industries’ Spencer Terminal has received the agency’s STAR designation for having an outstanding safety record. It’s the 15th facility in Iowa to receive the honor.
The CF Industries’ Spencer Terminal has been in operation since 1969. The year-round facility distributes nitrogen fertilizer to farm cooperatives in Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota.
