(Spencer)– The Spencer Area Arts Council has landed a 7,667-dollar grant through the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs. It comes from a program that offers financial support for projects that develop cultural and historical resources while creating employment.
Officials with the Spencer Arts Council say the grant will allow them to reach new audiences with expanded programming for adults and children.
