South Dickinson Fund Drive Under Way

(Milford)– An organization that provides funding to various groups that provide services to southern Dickinson county has started up its annual fund drive.

The South Dickinson Community Fund Drive sent out a mass mailing to residents of southern Dickinson county October 15th.

The South Dickinson Community Fund provides funding to the Red Cross; Salvation Army; Iowa Arthritis Foundation; Children and Family Services of Iowa; the Florence Crittenton Center; Multiple Sclerosis Society; Dickinson County Voluntary Action Center; Centers Against Abuse and Sexual Assault; Plus, Incorporated; YMCA community programs; Shepherd’s Fold; Timeout Nursery; Kinship; Discovery House and Upper Des Moines Opportunity.

Each donor can designate a certain agency to which they’d like their contribution to go. Agencies other than those listed may also be designated.

The South Dickinson Community Fund Drive continues through November 8th.

Donations may be dropped off at United Community Bank in Milford.
