South Dickinson Community Fund Begins Fundraising Campaign

(Milford)– Another local organization that raises money to help various non-profit organizations is starting up its annual fundraising campaign.

The South Dickinson Community Fund has sent a mass mailing to residents in southern Dickinson county asking for their financial support.

The South Dickinson Community Fund helps support 15 different non-profit groups and agencies, including the Red Cross, Salvation Army, Iowa Arthritis Foundation, Children and Family Services of Iowa, the Florence Crittendon Center, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Dickinson County Voluntary Action Center, Centers Against Abuse and Sexual Assault, PLUS Incorporated, YMCA community programs, Shepherd’s Fold, Timeout Nursery, Kinship, Discovery House and Upper Des Moines Opportunity.

The drive continues through November 8th.

Contributions to the South Dickinson County Community Fund can be dropped off at United Community Bank in Milford.
