(Brandon, S.D.)– A two-vehicle accident Sunday on Interstate 90 near Brandon, South Dakota has claimed the life of a Havelock, Iowa man.
The victim is identified as Dick Vader.
The South Dakota State Patrol says the crash happened when an oncoming vehicle hit a patch of ice and crossed into the other lane. The suburban Vader was in left the road and rolled.
Several other people were injured…including the driver of the other vehicle, Joan Oberloh of Worthington, Minnesota.
Authorities say it was snowing and the wind was blowing at the time.
